School Clubs, Service, and Camps

As someone with a strong interest in mathematics, I participated in the CTY camp’s Cryptology program during summer break, which sparked a curiosity in new fields of study. The time I spent was truly valuable. I was challenged and received support from friends more talented than me. The Service League program, where I assist teachers and support friends at school, brings me great joy as I was able to do the same for others who have supported me. Additionally, participating in the jazz band for three years and earning consecutive NYSSMA Gold Medals has been a special experience for us. I could not imagine going this far without the friends, mentors, and bandmates along my journey.
